The film material (10) is formed as printed mono film or as printed laminate, which has a functional area (20) and a surface area (30). The functional area is provided with an upper surface structure provided with a recess. The upper surface structure is structurally, particularly mechanically weakened against structure of surface area of the mono film or the laminate. The film material comprises polypropylene, metallized biaxial oriented polypropylene, partially metallized biaxial oriented polypropylene, cast polypropylene, blown polypropylene. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a film material.
