PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the processing load of a base station in intermittent reception control.SOLUTION: A base station 10 according to the present invention is capable of wirelessly communicating with a plurality of mobile communication terminals 20. The base station 10 comprises: a storage unit 200 for storing a list in which elements associating an expiration time defining a start timing of a next state monitoring with the respective mobile communication terminals 20 are lined up in the order of the expiration time from shortest; and a control unit 100 which compares, in the order of the elements from the top of the list, the present time with the expiration time of the element at every prescribed time interval, and, with respect to the element having the expiration time corresponding to the present time, starts determination as to whether or not the mobile communication terminal 20 corresponding to the element is in an intermittent reception state. |
