<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber distal end checking device in which an end face of an optical fiber can be viewed from the front. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber distal end checking device 1 comprises a main body unit 2, an optical fiber holder 5 and a light source 212. The main body unit 2 includes an optical fiber holder mounting port 211 where the optical fiber holder 5 holding an optical fiber 100 is mounted, and a tubular part 22 where a magnifying lens 3 is mounted. The optical fiber holder 5 includes a half mirror 51 and holds the optical fiber while turning a distal end of the optical fiber toward the half mirror 51. The light source 212 is provided within the main body unit 2 and irradiates a direction of the half mirror 51 in the state where the optical fiber holder 5 is mounted. In the state where the optical fiber holder 5 is mounted, the half mirror 51 is visible through the magnifying lens 3 and is turned in a direction between a direction of the optical fiber 100 and a direction of the magnifying lens 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
