<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously use a device connected to a device server from a plurality of client PCs, in a device server system. <P>SOLUTION: In a device server system in which a device performs unidirectional communication to a client PC, the device server stores information (initial information) at the time when the client PC and the device are connected. When a connection request from another client PC is received, communication with the device is not performed and the stored initial information is returned.
