<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption during a standby operation and to reduce power consumption during information communication between a tank side unit and a heat pump side unit. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater includes a compressor driving circuit, a heat pump unit side control unit for controlling a pressure reducing valve, a circulating pump, and the compressor driving circuit and performing a heating operation to store a solution to be heated at a target boiling-up temperature in a tank, a load power breaker for switching the supply or interception of an operation power to the compressor driving circuit, and a tank side control unit which is arranged at a tank unit side for communicating with the heat pump side control unit. The heat pump water heater is characterized in that a heat pump cycle, the compressor driving circuit, and the heat pump unit side control unit are all arranged at the heat pump unit side and the heat pump side control unit switches the supply or interception of the operation power to the compressor driving circuit on the basis of the situation of the heat pump water heater in a standby state for operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
