<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bearing having excellent fatigue resistance and conformability under high bearing pressure. <P>SOLUTION: This slide bearing 1 includes a back metal layer 2, an Al group intermediate layer 3, and an Al group bearing alloy layer 4. One kind or more of intermetallic compounds constituted of Al and the other two kinds or more of elements, that is, the intermetallic compounds having the particle size less than 0.5μm, are included by 8 pieces/μm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or more in the Al group bearing alloy layer 4. When the relationship of the presence ratio of the elements X1, X2, ..., Xn (n is a natural number) for forming the intermetallic compounds is X1≥X2≥...,≥Xn, the presence ratio X1/X2 of the element X1 and the element X2 is set to 1-10.
