<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reliability of a variable-speed pumped storage power generation control system higher by eliminating a risk of breakage of a device. <P>SOLUTION: A variable-speed pumped storage power generation control system that performs excitation power control by controlling an excitation current supplied by an inverter according to a deviation between electric power of a power generating motor connected to an AC power system and coupled with a pump turbine and an electric power command value, and also performs excitation speed control by controlling the excitation current supplied by the inverter according to a deviation between the rotating speed of the power generating motor and an optimum rotating speed. The variable-speed pumped storage power generation control system includes a determination function part which determines that a sip frequency is close to 0 and also determines that the slip frequency is not close to 0 any more, and switches the excitation electric power control to the excitation speed control once the determination function part determines that the slip frequency is close to 0 and brings the excitation speed control back to the excitation power control once the determination function part determines that the slip frequency is not close to 0 any more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
