<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device that prevents a tank inner wall and a float from being damaged, and suppresses a decrease in precision of liquid level detection to avoid a failure in liquid level detection, and is made advantageous in cost and applicable to a longitudinally long tank. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid level detection device 1 includes a tank 10 which contains a liquid F; a plurality of sensors 21, 22 which respectively have bases 21a, 22a provided to a side wall in the tank, float arms 21b, 22b extending from the bases 21a, 22a, and floats 21c, 22c provided atop of the float arms 21b, 22b and moving up and down according to a liquid level, and output signals corresponding to float positions. The plurality of sensors 21, 22 are provided to the side wall in the tank at mutually different heights, and an upper-limit position of the float 21c of the sensor 21 on a tank bottom surface side between the plurality of sensors 21, 22 is in level with or higher than a lower-limit position of the float 22c of the sensor 22 positioned a size above the sensor 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
