The method involves flowing the fluid from an inlet (19) of housing (11) against the filter (28) in passage channel (25) symmetrical, and guiding behind filters in passage channel to an outlet (21) of housing. A portion of the fluid which is not flow through passage channel, is flowed in a gap (29) between sliding unit (12) and housing to form hydrodynamic buffer. The passage channel is opened into two symmetrically opposite sub channels (16,17) of outlet. The four purge streams are generated in the gap between two inlet ports (30) and two outlet ports (31) of passage channel. An independent claim is included for a filtering apparatus.
