Provided is a systemized method and apparatus for adjusting a demand. The method for adjusting the demand according to the present invention comprises the steps of: setting a reference node among a plurality of nodes having hierarchical connection relation and determining the reference node and all the lower level nodes of the reference node as target nodes; adding a consensus demand of each node included in the target nodes by each reference level and determining a minimum value among the added values of the consensus demand by each reference level as a cut-off value; and selecting an adjustment target demand among demands matched with each node included in the target nodes based on a priority of each of the demands and the cut-off value.
