<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for manufacturing an optical display device, the system improving the yield in optical-film production, reducing a cost and improving inventory management, and to provide a method for manufacturing the optical display device. <P>SOLUTION: The system for manufacturing an optical display device includes a supply means which pulls out a belt-like sheet product 3, having an optical film from a roll 4 which takes up the belt-like sheet product 3 to supply the sheet product; a detection means 12, which detects defects of the belt-like sheet product pulled out by the supply means; a cutting-and-processing means 13, which cuts the belt-like sheet product, on the basis of the result of the detection and processes it into individual sheet products; a conveying means 16, which conveys the sheet products which are obtained by the cutting and processing, so as to subject them to bonding processing; and a bonding processing means 17, which bonds the conveyed sheet products and an optical display unit together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
