<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter for transmitting a program schedule table necessary for causing a reception side to perform storage reservation of content files. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter 1 comprises: program schedule table generation means for generating a program schedule table including a service ID, an event identifier and content type information; program schedule table transmission means for transmitting the program schedule table at predetermined intervals; and content file transmission means for transmitting a content file having the event identifier associated in the program schedule table in a unit of a data block by the carousel system. The event identifier is described in header information broadcasted with the data block, and the content file transmission means transmits the content file by controlling a combination of the header information and the content type information to cause a reception side to perform a storage operation according to content types. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
