<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method of a superconductive splice wire which suppresses a floating of the superconductive splice wire from a former while it is spirally wound around an outer circumferential surface of the former, and a winding structure. <P>SOLUTION: A winding method of a superconductive splice wire includes winding the long superconductive splice wire, formed by connecting two tape-like superconductive wires while overlapping terminals of the both wires, spirally around an outer circumferential surface of a columnar former. The terminals have edges tilted at a predetermined angle with respect to a width direction of the wire, and are overlapped in a way that the edges become parallel with each other. Also in the winding method, the superconductive splice wires are spirally wound around the outer circumferential surface of the former in a way that the edges become approximately parallel with a central axis of the former.
