According to an embodiment of the present invention, a camera system comprises: a first camera to photograph an object; a second camera which photographs the object and is spaced apart from the first camera at a predetermined interval; a first drive and a second drive to pan and/or tilt the first camera and the second camera, respectively; and a control unit to control the first drive and the second drive. The control unit comprises: an object distance estimating unit to estimate the distance between the first camera and the object; and a first angle estimating unit to estimate the first panning and/or a tilting angle of the first camera, from the distance estimated by the object distance estimating unit.
