A gasket 114 is configured to provide a seal at a first interface 10 between first and second components 4, 6 of an engine, and comprises a side wall 114a extending between top and bottom surfaces of the gasket and configured to face an abutment surface 8a of a third component 8 of the engine, which abuts end faces of the first and second components at a second interface 12 such that the second interface abuts the first interface; the gasket side wall 114a comprises a projecting portion 114b configured to extend towards the third component such that, at the intersection of the first and second interfaces, a gap between the gasket and the third component is reduced. The projecting portion 114b may be profiled to follow the shape of a pocket feature 18 of the third components abutment surface, and may reduce an area occupied by a sealant between the gasket and the third component. An engine assembly and a vehicle are also disclosed. |
