<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a riding comfort performance by controlling an increase in the displacement amount of a cushion shell, even if a cushion frame is largely displaced. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle seat 10, the spring force that acts on the cushion shell 92 from the front torsion bar 42 and the rear torsion bar 72 is changed, since the front torsion bar 42 and the rear torsion bar 72 are turned to the normal rotation direction (or, reverse direction) when the displacement amount of the cushion shell 92 is equal to or more than a reference value. Accordingly, the cushion shell 92 becomes not easy to follow the cushion frame 12. As a result, the movement to the upper side (or, lower side) of the cushion shell 92 that accompanies the movement to the upper side of cushion frame 12 (or, lower side) is controlled, and the cushion shell 92 becomes not easily displaced upper side (or, lower side).
