<p>Disclosed is a biosensor which is suppressed in change in the output due to moisture absorption and is free from performance variations. Specifically disclosed is a biosensor which is characterized by comprising: a substrate (12) that is formed from an insulating material; a pair of electrodes (14, 16) that are arranged on the substrate at a certain distance from each other; a reaction unit (22) that is formed so as to be electrically connected with the electrodes and has reagent layers (28, 30) that react with a specific component; and a supply port for feeding a sample to the reaction unit. The biosensor is also characterized in that the reaction unit reacts with a specific component in the sample that is fed from the supply port and quantitatively analyzes the specific component, and the reagent layers contain (a) an enzyme, (b) a hydrophilic polymer and (c) one compound selected from among a hydrolysis product of sericin, potassium gluconate, and a mixture of a hydrolysis product of sericin and potassium gluconate.</p> |
