<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modified alicyclic polyester that has transparency and heat resistance and good adhesion to various resins and glass, and a laminate that includes a layer comprising the modified alicyclic polyester. <P>SOLUTION: The modified alicyclic polyester is obtained by grafting a vinyl monomer to an alicyclic polyester, wherein 0.01-40 pts.wt. of the vinyl monomer is grafted in the modified alicyclic polyester.
