A hydraulic cylinder cover for a hydraulic cylinder of machine tool is described. Forces generated during work operations may be dissipated without resulting in stress fractures. The hydraulic cylinder cover comprises a body having a first end and a second end, a flange positioned at the first end, and a cover eye provided on the flange for connection to a piston rod eye of the hydraulic cylinder. |
