The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a packet in a local brake out manner and, more particularly, to the method which can change information on a destination address of the packet to address information reserved by an edge server for supporting the same in the local break out manner, and then can transmit the same to an Internet network through the edge server when a terminal is to transmit the packet to the Internet network in the local break out manner. According to the present invention, the method, which transmits the packet in the local break out manner in a network system including a core network for controlling transmission of the packet between the terminal and a content providing device connected to the Internet network, and an edge server distributedly disposed near the core network and directly transmitting the packet between the terminal and the content providing device in the local break out manner, comprises the following steps: the terminal confirms pass information on the packet to transmit the packet to the content providing device connected to the Internet network; and when the pass information is corresponded to the local break out manner, the terminal changes a destination address of the packet to address information reserved by the edge server according to any one mode among a proxy mode or a tunneling mode, and transmitting the same to the Internet network. |
