<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle charging device and a vehicle charging system which can detect electrical shorting in or electrical leakage from a charge connector before a charge starts. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle charging device comprises: a charge connector 11 having an L terminal 111 and an N terminal 112; a charge cable 13 connected to the charge connector 11; and a device body 10 which charges a vehicle 9 via the charge cable 13. The device body 10 comprises: a charge current output circuit 101 which outputs charge current to the vehicle 9 from the L terminal 111 and the N terminal 112; an inspection signal generation unit 20 which generates an inspection signal including an AC component; a first inspection signal output circuit 102 which outputs an inspection signal from the L terminal 111; a first voltage measurement unit 105 which measures the voltage of the N terminal 112; and a control unit 30 which, on condition that the voltage measured by the first voltage measurement unit 105 during output of an inspection signal by the first inspection signal output circuit 102 is within a prescribed range, enables charge current for output by the charge current output circuit 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
