<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device capable of opening and closing a communication part at low cost, even when the size of the communication part provided at a container is changed. <P>SOLUTION: This communication part opening and closing device comprises a valve device 6 capable of opening and closing a communication part 3a of a vacuum container 1 and a valve seat 7 having an L-shape cross section, for mounting the valve device 6 to a vacuum container 1 side. The vacuum container 1 includes a sidewall 3 and a bottom wall part 4 and having an L-shape cross section, wherein the communication part 3a is provided at the sidewall 3 and a mounting opening 4a is provided at the bottom wall part 4. The valve seat 7 is provided with: a seat 21 in which a guide opening 22a corresponding to the communication part 3a provided at the sidewall 3 is formed; and a base 31 provided in a direction perpendicular to the seat 21, for mounting the valve device 6.
