Specifically, disclosed are a voice recognition method capable of improving a voice recognition rate by performing voice recognition in a word set provided from a client, and a voice recognition server performing the method and a voice recognition client thereof. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is the voice recognition method including: (a) a step in which the voice recognition server receives voice recognition preliminary information from the client; (b) a step in which the voice recognition server receives recognition target voice inputted by a user of the client from the client; (c) a step in which the voice recognition server performs voice recognition as to the recognition target voice using a recognition target word pool; and (d) a step in which the voice recognition server transmits the voice recognition result as to the recognition target voice to the client. The recognition target word pool is determined on the basis of the voice recognition preliminary information received from the client.
