FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous purification of used water and/or service water. Peracetic acid is dispensed into used water to measure used water flow and redox potential and to measure peracetic acid concentration downstream of the point of dispensing. Peracetic acid dispensing is adjusted immediately relative to flow variation so that peracetic acid concentration makes less than 0.8 ppm while redox potential makes 50 to 250 mV.
