The present invention relates to a power converting device for the removal of a ripple. According to the present invention, the power converting device includes a first voltage converter outputting a first voltage by raising or dropping a DC voltage, received from a solar cell or battery; a second voltage receiving the first voltage from the first voltage converter and outputting the second voltage by raising or dropping the first voltage; and a capacitor for ripple removal placed between the first voltage converter and the second voltage converter, and delivering only a DC component of the first voltage to the second voltage converter by removing an AC component, included in the voltage. According to the power converting device, since a small capacitor is connected to a cascade type dual voltage converter, the present invention is capable of increasing the its lifespan and efficiently removing a ripple, caused by an AC current, without a large capacity electrolytic capacitor. Moreover, since a dual voltage converter structure is applied to a raising-raising or dropping-dropping converter, higher efficiency of power conversion is provided. |
