The sodium carboxymethyl cellulose salt can be used in different fields as a reagent for drilling oil and gas wells, in the construction industry, as a chemical reagent in floatation, in the ore mining and processing industry and in the pharmaceutical industry.EFFECT: invention cuts the duration of the carboxymethylation process, enables to obtain a product characterised by a high degree of substitution, degree of polymerisation and solubility in water.1 tbl
