A tie article (10) that includes an attachment portion (14) and a bib portion (16), where the attachment portion (14) includes at least one arm segment (28) and at least one closure device (22) (e.g., a retention wire, tin tie, clasp tie, and the like), where the attachment portion (14) and the bib portion (16) are integrally fabricated from a printed sheet (18) having a first surface (24) and a polymeric film (20) adhered to the first surface (24) of the printed sheet (20) such that the closure device(s) (22) is disposed between the first surface (24) of the printed sheet (18) and the polymeric film (20) at the attachment portion (14). Multiple tie articles (10) may be manufactured with an in-line process.
