1. A positive electrode for a lithium rechargeable battery, the positive electrode comprising:
a positive electrode active material; a binder; and a positive electrode additive represented by the following Formula 1: wherein R includes a C1 to C10 alkyl group or a C5 to C30 aryl group and n is 0 or 1 and wherein the positive electrode additive is included in the positive electrode in an amount of about 0.1 to about 5.0 wt %, based on a total weight of materials of the positive electrode.
