Disclosed are an ethanol dehydration catalyst, for converting feedstock containing anhydrous ethanol or hydrous ethanol into ethylene and having an excellent yield rate of ethylene production at low temperatures, and a method for producing ethylene using the same. With respect to the ethanol dehydration catalyst for converting the feedstock containing anhydrous ethanol or hydrous ethanol into ethylene, provided are the ethanol dehydration catalyst containing 0.05-1 wt% of gallium (Ga) with ZSM-5 and the method for producing ethylene using the same.
