FIELD: instrumentation.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geomagnetics and may be used to detect, map and assess spectrally magnetoactive deposits, for instance, deposits of hydrocarbons or ore. Substance: they measure time-variable abnormal magnetic fields (2), which exist in interaction with spectrally magnetoactive rock masses (1), on/above earth surface (8) in the form of an alternating signal and/or field at least in one direction of 3D space. Measured data of timing series recorded for each position of measurements in the field of research, is converted by means of processing (in part of spectral analysis) into indices of spectral density of power in the frequency range of 0.01-100 Hz. On the basis of the produced data they determine at least one spectral attribute (6), in particular, power. They recognize availability and absence of underground spectrally magnetoactive rock masses by comparison of values of alternate attributes reduced to the reference value (7), with the standard reference value.EFFECT: invention provides for detection, mapping and assessment of spectrally magnetoactive deposits; optimisation of works for development of deposits.7 cl, 3 dwg |
