In accordance with the present invention, provided is an apparatus for calibrating a slew rate, comprising: a slew rate adjuster to receive a clock signal and to calibrate the slew rate of the clock signal; a slew rate detector to detect the slew rate of the clock signal in which the slew rate was calibrated; a controller to control the calibrating degree of the slew rate of the slew rate adjuster, by comparing the slew rate of the signal in which the slew rate was calibrated with a target slew rate. Also, according to the present invention, provided is a method for calibrating the slew rate, comprising the steps of: receiving the slew rate of the clock signal calibrated from the slew rate detector which detects the slew rate of the clock signal in which the slew rate was calibrated; and controlling the calibrating degree of the slew rate, by comparing the slew rate of the signal in which the slew rate was calibrated with the target slew rate. |
