FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to metal forming, and can be used for making decorative articles, say, volutes and monograms for arches, etc, from shaped tubes. Preset cross-section of the blank is set by deforming of its initial profile to cut the blank to preset length sections. Prior to bending, the workpiece cross-section is changed to make stiffness ribs by rolling tube wall part inwards at tube sides. Claimed process is implemented with the help of device comprising top female die with male die to displace axially in the latter, two mating half-female dies with blades spaced apart from each other by the distance equal or approximating the male die width in cutting zone. Outer profile of said female and male dies in the area of interaction with the blank allow the formation of straight or almost straight section in the area of cutting zone with the zones of transition from said section to the main material.EFFECT: expanded performances, preset pipe blank profile.11 cl, 6 dwg |
