The present invention relates to an air conditioner comprising a hot water generation device comprising: a thermoelement including a cooling part for cooling and a radiating part for heating by through-current; a cooling circulation means connected to the cooling part of the thermoelement, and for discharging cool air generated from the cooling part to an outside; a hot water generating circulation means connected to the radiating part of the thermoelement, and for generating hot water and exchanging heat with respect to the radiating part; a raw water storing tank connected to the hot water generating circulation means, and for supplying raw water required for heat exchange operation of the radiating part and storing raw water received from an outside; and a hot water preserving tank for supplying to the used place after receiving and storing the hot water from the raw water storing tank. The present invention has effects of not only improving cooling efficiency by offsetting generation of heat by performing heat exchange operation with respect to a radiating part for radiating heat in the opposite side when a cooling part of a thermoelement performs cooling operation, but also smoothly supplying hot water without separate boiler operation by using heat of the radiating part. |
