The present invention relates to a cooking device having an upper heat source, and a method for cooking cheese fish cake using the same. The cooking device having the upper heat source comprises: a roaster main body unit in which a space unit with an open upper portion is formed inside; a roasting tray unit which is arranged inside the space unit, and on which food ingredients are placed; a door unit which opens and closes the open upper portion of the roaster main body; and an upper heating body which is installed on the lower surface of the door unit, and heats the food ingredients placed on the roaster tray unit. The heat source is arranged on the upper side of the food ingredients, and effusion such as oil or the like, which is generated when food such as a fish cake or the like is cooked by using a grilling method, is discharged to a lower portion of the cooking device so that the heat source is prevented from being contaminated or damaged by the effusion. |
