The present invention relates to a catalyst support for a reformer, which is capable of easily growing a catalyst on the surface or the other side of a substrate and maintaining anchorage strength of the catalyst even under repetitive thermal impacts, by forming a porous metal coating layer on the surface or the other side of the substrate. The catalyst support for a reformer comprises: a substrate; and a porous metal coating layer which is formed on the surface or the other side of the substrate so as to increase the anchorage strength of the catalyst grown on the surface or the other side of the substrate.
