A connector of the present invention comprises a holding member and a contact supported on the holding member. The contact has a fixed portion, a first spring portion and a second spring portion. The fixed portion is fixed on the holding member. The spring portion is extended from the fixed portion. The first spring portion has two pressed portions, a movable start portion and a movable end portion. When an inserted object moves along a forward or backward movement direction, the pressed portion is pressed in a pressing portion and moves along a downward direction orthogonal to the movement direction. The inserted object is a card or a card adaptor. The insertion object has the pressing portion. The second spring portion is formed with a free stage and a contact point. When the insertion object moves along the movement direction, the second spring portion moves downward with the movement of the movable start portion, and accordingly, the insertion object is prevented from contacting the free stage of the second spring portion. |
