A text-based video creating apparatus and a creating method thereof are disclosed. The video creating apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a morpheme analysis unit for analyzing a morpheme of a sentence in a text; a keyword determining unit for determining a keyword on the basis of the morpheme analyzed by the morpheme analysis unit; a media collection unit for collecting, in response to the determined keyword by the keyword determining unit, multimedia which includes at least one from an image and a video with respect to the text through a network; and a video creating unit for creating a video by sequentially connecting the collected multimedia by the media collection unit. |
