An apparatus for supporting a nozzle according to the present invention comprises: a nozzle housing installed while enveloping a nozzle for supplying molten metal; and a housing supporting part configured via non-fixating method to absorb the thermal expansion of the nozzle housing, which is caused by the high-temperature heat of the nozzle for supplying molten metal heated by the molten metal, while supporting the nozzle housing. Accordingly, the present invention can prevent the profiling defect of a magnesium plate and thus can improve the quality of a product by uniformizing the supply of molten metal through the nozzle for supplying molten metal as the nozzle housing is prevented from being bent downward and thus also the nozzle for supplying molten metal is prevented from being bent downward by configuring the housing supporting part via a non-fixating method to absorb the thermal expansion of the nozzle housing caused by the high-temperature heat of the nozzle for supplying molten metal. Moreover, a reinforcing member is configured to prevent the nozzle housing from being bent downward, as configured above, and to connect and fix the upper part and the lower part of the nozzle housing to a supporting plate. Therefore, damage to the nozzle for supplying molten metal can be reduced by reducing abrasion as the lower part of the nozzle for supplying molten metal is prevented from generating friction while excessively pressing the lower roll of a twin-roll caster by preventing the sagging of the fore-end side of the nozzle for supplying molten metal. |
