An image display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display portion including a first display area and a second display area; and a data driving portion for supplying a data signal to the display portion. The data driving portion comprises: a data signal production portion for producing the data signal by corresponding to input data; a first buffer portion and a second buffer portion for respectively supplying the data signal from the data signal production portion to the first display area and the second display area, and being off during a non-display period of a corresponding display area; and a sub driving portion for supplying a black data signal to the first display area or the second display area during the non-display period of the first display area or the second display area.
