The present invention provides a modular water stream energy conversion apparatus which is portable and is capable of combining and replacing a module in accordance to a user′s selection at the same time. The modular water stream energy conversion apparatus provided by the present invention comprises: a turbine unit formed to rotate with respect to an axis by receiving energy from running water; a housing which surrounds at least part of the turbine unit to protect the turbine unit of which at least a part is formed to be opened for the running water to enter into the turbine unit; and a power convertor formed to convert a rotational force of the turbine unit transmitted through the axis to another energy, wherein the housing and the power convertor are modular and are capable of being coupled and be separated from each other, and the power convertor rotates with the axis by hanging at least the part thereof on the axis to receive the rotational force of the turbine unit from the axis, when the power convertor is coupled to the housing.
