<p>The method involves an extracting (S23) movement vector for each image of a succession of images from a digital data stream. Length of a succession of images having zero movement vectors is compared (T26) with a threshold e.g. short threshold and long threshold. Error detection data of gel of images is generated (S28) if the length is greater than the threshold, where the detection data includes a detection ratio of error if the length is greater than the threshold, and the data includes a video sequence, which is recorded if the length is greater than the long threshold. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for processing a video signal coded into a digital data stream (2) a computer program product comprising program code instructions recorded on a medium readable by a computer for executing a method for processing a video signal coded into a digital data stream (3) a network head integrating a device for processing a video signal coded into a digital data stream.</p> |
