<p>The process of preparing a hot or cold drink by brewing a product (11) such as tea leaves in water, comprises heating the water, mixing the leaves with the hot water, and removing the brewed leaves from the hot water. A temperature to which a predetermined volume of water to be heated is determined by a number of brewing carried out with the leaves, and a time of brewing the leaves in the volume of heated water is determined, where the time is recorded in a memory unit (19). The volume of predetermined water is poured according to a high flow on the leaves to be brewed.
