本发明系一种翻页装置及翻页方法,用于智慧穿戴式设备,包括陀螺仪及控制器;陀螺仪用以获取智慧穿戴式设备发生转动的转动角度及发生转动的起始时间,并将转动角度及起始时间提供给控制器;控制器根据接收的转动角度及起始时间决定智慧穿戴式设备是否需要翻页。透过陀螺仪获取智慧穿戴式设备发生转动的转动角度及发生转动的起始时间,控制器根据转动角度及起始时间决定智慧穿戴式设备是否需要翻页,实现了智慧穿戴式设备的自动翻页,避免用户在翻页阅读时需双手或者单手对智慧穿戴式设备的触控式萤幕进行操作的问题,给用户阅读带来方便。
