DEVICE FOR ASSISTING IN ENHANCEMENT OF MUSCULAR STRENGTH OF UPPER LIMB

A device for assisting in enhancement of muscular strength of an upper limb comprises: a frame; a support member formed on the frame such that the user's torso and upper arms can be rested and cradled; a rotatable member extending to the front of the frame such that the user's lower arm can be cradled, the rotatable member being capable of rotating in the upward/downward direction with regard to the frame with reference to an elbow rotation axis; and a first motor for rotating the rotatable member, wherein the rotatable member rotates, while the user's upper arm is cradled on the support member, such that the user's elbow undergoes a joint movement, thereby assisting in enhancement of muscular strength of the arm.
