A method and device for adjusting illumination brightness, and an illumination method and device. The method for adjusting illumination brightness comprises: when an operation of turning on a flash lamp of a mobile terminal by a user is detected, sending a first instruction to an optical detector of the mobile terminal, the first instruction being used for triggering the optical detector to detect the illumination intensity of the surrounding environment of the mobile terminal; according to a result of the illumination intensity, determining a first numerical value of a drive current of a flash lamp driver; and sending a second instruction to the flash lamp driver, the second instruction being used for controlling the flash lamp driver to provide the drive current for the flash lamp with the determined first numerical value of the drive current. |
