A guard for gas cylinder actuators, constituted by a deformable covering element (11), to be fixed to the stem (12) of the gas cylinder actuator (13) with which it is associated or to the translating body against which the gas cylinder actuator (13) is intended to act, the covering element (11) being contoured so as to extend radially from the fixing region in order to protect the stem (12) and the opening (16) of the body (15) of the actuator (13) from which the stem (12) exits.
