Provided are a remote control method and apparatus, and a home gateway device. The method comprises: receiving a fault report call sent out by a user through a voice call apparatus which is connected to a voice home gateway; and opening a corresponding port and service of the voice home gateway, so that a remote server can establish an access connection with the voice home gateway through the corresponding port. The apparatus corresponds to the method. The home gateway device comprises the remote control method provided in any embodiment of the present invention. The remote control method and apparatus, and home gateway device provided in the present invention can permit a maintenance staff to deal with a fault problem conveniently and quickly when a user home gateway device fails. |
