An operation control method for a touch-screen terminal. The method comprises: monitoring a touch operation on a touch screen of a touch-screen terminal, and acquiring touch information on the touch screen (S101); according to the touch information, judging whether a current touch operation is a children's operation behaviour (S102); and if the current operation is a children's operation behaviour, switching an operating mode of the touch-screen terminal into a children mode (S103). Also provided is a touch-screen terminal.
