A machining program is executed on this numerical control apparatus, and if an execution block of the machining program has a block number specified by a specification unit, a measurement request is issued to a measurement unit prior to the execution of that execution block, and a cutting start position subsequently measured by the measurement unit is stored and associated with the block number. This process is performed for each of a plurality of identical workpieces, and a list display screen is displayed which includes the stored cutting start positions for the plurality of identical workpieces and machining start positions specified by the machining program, making it possible for an operator to suitably change a machining start position. |
