PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide kits for determining whether a subject has autism.SOLUTION: There is provided a kit for determining whether a fetus or child is at an increased risk of developing an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or whether a mother or potential mother is at an increased risk of bearing a child who will develop an ASD. The kit comprises a solid support comprising one or more subunits or one or more isotypes of one or more polypeptides or antigenic fragments thereof. The one or more polypeptides are selected from the group consisting of LDH, GDA, CRMP1, STIP1, YBX1 and DPYSL2. The LDH comprises an LDH-A subunit or LDH-B subunit, or both an LDH-A subunit and an LDH-B subunit. |
